Hi!, my name is Scott.

I am printmaking in Seattle, WA.

Click a linocut to enter my galleries and check out the prints. I am interested in feedback, and in hearing from others doing Linocuts and related work.

Do you print on wood or metal? I would especially like to hear from you about your choice of wood/metal and inks you use! I have been moving away from framing (rant) and have been experimenting with alternative ways to display my work that have come through a few projects that I played with.

What's new?

For what's new and hasn't made it into a gallery page, check my blog page.

I realized I needed a way to update more often than creating new gallery pages every few months - so new stuff will go into the blog until I have the time to make an actual gallery page.

Are the prints for sale?

You bet. If you see something you like, just ask.

I'm also going to try out ETSY - an online store beta that seems to be better for artists than ebay, because the work stays listed for more than just a few days and it is a set price not an auction so you know what you'll pay. I won't list everything that is for sale in ETSY. My ETSY store.

George (in Georgetown) is hanging my prints

If you are in Seattle, stop in to "George" in the Georgetown neighborhood south of downtown Seattle. Amongst the fun and quite reasonably priced items there, you can find my work. :-)

Misc

I have found that a number of people have been linking back to this website, if there is something you'd like to see in the way of a how-to article on linocuts let me know what I can add to make the site valuable to you.
